PEOPLE

I started my career off in portraiture, then after moving into food I now find myself with my two worlds having collided into lifestyle, but here are a few favourites from across the years.

WAITROSE SUMMER

This brief included shooting on a tennis court, in a pool and through plumes of BBQ smoke til I couldn’t see a thing, it was exceptionally collaborative, and to shoot summer food with summer light was such a treat.

PASTA GRANNIES

Touring around multiple regions of Italy we stepped in Nonna’s homes, capturing their strong hands making their speciality of pasta, and feeding us as many portions as we could eat! Every single one of them kept moving, and kept smiling.

LA MERCERIE

In Marseille, I followed Harry Cummins of La Mercerie and his team pre service aroudn the kitchen, as they resourcefully use less desired parts of fresh fish to make their own lunch, in which they take their time to make, to enjoy, sitting down to eat like a family, featured in Issue 8 of Table Magazine.

AT HOME IN PROVENCE

In collaboration with Maison Mirabeau I was commissioned to translate some of life in beautiful Provence, bringing a rich atmosphere and flavour to every image.

'OVER HERE' SERIES

At Rare, my agency, hosted an exhibition of personal work for all the artists at both rosters - my images were visual explorations from different chapters in MFK. Fishers book ‘An alphabet for gourmets’. The chapters I selected were; Alone, Family, Juvenile, Ostentatious, Zakuski.

AFTER 8

Elena Silcock and I were exploring all of aspects of a dinner party with our friends from start to end, shooting til 2am until the party was over.

WONDERHOOD WAITROSE

We had to bring countryside fields to London, shooting food on a car bonnet, along with the task of blending separate images together to bridge food and emotion was such a great challenge.

COOKBOOK ARCHIVE

A few favourites from various books from across the years of shooting.

KITTY COLES 'MAKE EXTRA'

Kitty and I shot a delicious mini series to release alongside her book ‘making more with less’, where she teaches you how to make your food go further.

GALETA BAKERY

London based Galeta Bakery’s rebrand needed to show the energy and textures that take fold throughout a days work, showcasing the people and the hands behind their homemade bakes.
